Our new brand identity is representative of our evolved product and people focused strategy to redefining the workplace.
With the industry of commercial property being an archaic world, sub800 are on the mission to change the way this works – redefining the workplace. sub800 is a business owned by a Landlord, our CEO understood the struggles of people wanting to find affordable yet invigorating office spaces with convenience being at the forefront of their mind. The idea of sub800 was born…
Since our inception in 2019, sub800 has evolved from only selling space that was below 800 sqft (hence the name!), to now being a brand that has big plans to change the way the industry works.
At sub800, our mission is to seamlessly connect individuals with spaces, fostering an environment where they can strive for greatness. We’re shaping a future where workspaces inspire and empower. We provide offices that are truly reflective of the businesses in them – introducing a space that truly feels like their own.
Our commitment goes beyond the practical aspects of the office rental; we curate spaces to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and growth. We believe in transforming work environments into vibrant hubs that resonate with the energy of their occupants.
The Rebrand
With the continued evolution of sub800, it was only right to ensure our image to the outside world reflects who we are as a business to the core. Our new brand was launched with consideration, thoughtfulness and our values in mind.
The new sub800 brand identity has been developed over the previous months with the collaboration of different members of our team and the execution by Simon French, the Global Creative Director of Tommy Hilfiger and the previous Senior Designer at Soho House.
Our Chief Operating Officer, Shannon Burke says “As the sub800 brand continues its journey, it was important for us to have a brand that reflected our new era the growth we have made as a business. Our new design is the perfect combination of energising and functionality to ensure our design not only inspires but supports others.”

A subtle tone that defines our brand identity, showcasing a seamless blend of sophistication and approachability. We shape our aesthetic, embodying the essence of sub800 with every design choice.
Logos
Our logo and brand are important to us. Our logo has become recognisable in the industry and is a testament to our business growth and journey. With a name that symbolises our beginnings the retention of our logo and brand name was important to us.
Typography
Our new font is a serif font that denotes the personal and hand-crafted nature of every step of our process. The font is paired with Futura which acts as the san-serif font for our body text to complement our serif text. The font will be used across both online and offline ensure consistency and recognisability.
Colours
With a previous band palette of black and white, the sub800 brand colour palette has undergone major changes. Our sub800 teal blue is now our primary colour along with our snow white and warm black. Our secondary colours are ivory and nude which will be used alongside our primary colours as a complementary asset. Finally, our tertiary colours, terracotta and sage green which you will see throughout our designs.
The new colour palette of sub800 is made up of ‘earthy’ tones, with a nod to our wellbeing focused product and the core values of sub800. Our new colour additions bring sub800 alive.
Photography
Our photography will be people focused highlighting the most important part about the office which is the people inside the building and the growth they make together. Up-close shots of the details of our office space will be incorporated throughout our designs, highlighting the intricates of the workplace. Photography of the space will still ensure to provide the client with a clear enough understanding of their new potential office space.
Illustrations
You may also spot some illustrations throughout our designs, these hand-drawn and highlight the personal touch we bring to our brand. The illustrations were carefully curated with our styling and provide a breath of fresh air to our designs.
Our team are delighted with our new brand and sub800 are excited with the progress this will help us to make as a business. With big plans and new initiatives being launched constantly by our team we are looking to take the workplace industry by storm.
